Gareth Thomas MP, Labour’s Shadow Charities Minister, responding to reports that a Government-organised reception for charitable organisations has been cancelled, said:
“At the very moment when charities most need David Cameron to show some leadership the collapse of this summit sends a terrible signal to Britain’s philanthropists about the Government’s lack of interest in whether or not they donate.”
