Fans of BBC drama The Thick of It were unexpectedly treated after the Department for Transport put its foot in it with a new video.
The video, created by the DfT for an unknown reason, seems to be going viral, and features Transport Secretary Justine Greening throwing the proverbial White Paper at an interviewer to justify her walk to work:
“Across the whole Department we’re trying to re-route, re-mode, re-time and just generally try and reduce our travels. So I’m remoding, at the moment.”

Later, a casual Francis Maude explains the benefits of learning to cycle:
“It’s great. It’s a good thing to do anyway, and we will need to do it in the Olympics.”
I hate to break it to you Francis, but I think Team GB are full.
