As part of a two-day trip to Northern Ireland The Queen meets first minister Peter Robinson as part of the Co-operation Ireland reception in Belfast. She will also visit Stormont and meet president Michael Higgins. The Duke of Edinburgh and deputy first minister Martin McGuinness will also attend.

The Libel Reform Campaign will hold a rally in Westminster to demand a strong public defence in the Defamation Bill. Comedian Dara Ó Briain, Professor Brian Cox and Dave Gorman will present a petition of over 60,000 signatures to Downing Street. (10:30)
