Commuters will have the distinctive voice of the Mayor of London Boris Johnson ringing in their ears from Tuesday, as he urges workers to think through their travel plans for the London 2012 Olympics.
Johnson has recorded messages that will be broadcast across the tube, bus and national rail stations from Tuesday morning.
His booming message is: "Hi folks! This is the Mayor here. This is the greatest moment in the life of London for 50 years. We’re welcoming more than a million people a day to our city and there is going to be huge pressure on the transport network.
