Following David Gauke's claim that cash-in-hand payments are “morally wrong”, John Mann has challenged George Osborne to a battle of the car boots.
In a press release, Mann said,” Can we now expect George Osborne to tramp around car boot sales in order to try to extract a few pennies in tax?”
Mann clearly knows what he’s talking about, with Ed Balls being voted as the politician that would drive the best bargain when purchasing an item at a car boot sale with 26% in a survey last month. Osborne lagged behind with 13% while Cameron scored a mere 9%.
