Good news for John Redwood - a new App has been created that helps smart-phone users learn the words to the Welsh national anthem. Plaid President Jill Evans MEP launched the App today at the National Eisteddfod at Llandow. It was inspired by singer and performer Gwenno Dafydd, who sings the anthem, with young musician Harri Davies on the piano. "It’s a historic day," says Gwenno. Ms Evans said it will be very useful for people, like Mr Redwood, who are "unsure of the words of Hen Wlad Fy Nhadau but would love to be able to sing it". The App is surely a must-have for whoever is appointed Welsh Secretary in the upcoming reshuffle. Hot favourite Maria Miller may like to know it can be purchased for the promo price of 69p from the App Store for the duration of the Eisteddfod.
