ONS Statistical Bulletin - Index of Production, July 2012

Office for National Statistics Statistical Bulletin

- The seasonally adjusted Index of Production fell by 0.8 per cent in July 2012 compared with July 2011

- The seasonally adjusted Index of Manufacturing fell by 0.5 per cent in July 2012 compared with July 2011

- Production rose by 2.9 per cent between June 2012 and July 2012, with manufacturing rising by 3.2 per cent

- Users should be cautious when interpreting movements involving June 2012 due to the changes in public holidays as a result of the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee

This month the revisions period is open from January 2011
