Much excitement among MPs last night. Not because of Nadine's adventures in Queensland (that was Monday night's entertainment) but the presence of pop royalty in the Palace. UK Music held an event to celebrate 60 years of the UK singles chart, and our elected representatives got to meet some of their idols. Iain Stewart met Liz Mitchell, lead singer of Boney M, while Eric Olleranshaw, who is of a riper vintage, was delighted to have chatted to 60s icon Sandie Shaw. Also on hand were veteran DJs Mike Read and Tony Blackburn, who is of course a former I'm A Celebrity winner. Will the member for Mid Beds emulate him and be crowned Queen of the Jungle? The voters will decide.
