UCATT statement on blacklisting following Ian Kerr's death

UCATT press release

Following the news that Ian Kerr the head of the Consulting Association has died, Steve Murphy, General Secretary of construction union UCATT, said: “It is essential that the full truth about the blacklisting of construction workers is exposed despite Ian Kerr’s death.

“The Scottish Affairs Select Committee must ensure that the senior construction company executives, who Kerr identified as being involved in blacklisting now give evidence. They must reveal exactly who else was involved and how information by the police and the security services was used to blacklist workers.”
