Gordon Brown hails 'bold' and 'ambitious' social care plans
Prime minister Gordon Brown has hailed the government's new plans for social care as "bold, ambitious reform" in a Downing Street podcast today. He said the current system would not be able to cope with extra demand in coming years, and said the proposals would mean "personal care there for you when you need it".
