  • UKIP faces questions over donations

Nearly £300,000 in UKIP party donations paid in to Nigel Farage's local branch were withdrawn as unspecified "other" running costs in 2004 and 2005, the Times reports. Running costs for the party's southeast branch did not exceed £8,200 in subsequent years, according to accounts filed with the Electoral Commission.
