Government departments have spent £50m on luxury and first class travel under the Coalition, the Sunday Express reports. The spending, which encompasses taxi fares, first-class rail tickets and business-class flights, is despite a supposed ban by the Coalition on “first-class travel”, and covers 13 of 21 departments.
