    A cross-party visit of MPs to China has been called off after Beijing refused a visa to Conservative MP Richard Graham due to a row over the recent protests in Hong Kong.

    The Chinese embassy in London demanded that Mr Graham make a statement clarifying his thinking after he held a debate on the protests in Westminster Hall last month.
