George Osborne has been urged to apologise for blaming the collapse of the Bombardier deal earlier this year on Labour. The deal saw the contract to build £1.4bn worth of resources for the Thameslink service go to German company Siemens. Chris Williamson, who represents the Derby constituency where the Bombardier factory is located, said the Chancellor was "tripped up by his arrogance when he accused Labour of signing the contract".
