Conservative MP Jesse Norman claims “scandalously wasteful and expensive” private finance initiatives should have their contracts renegotiated in order to give the tax payer a rebate. Mr Norman is leading a cross-party group of over 50 MPs arguing for a £500 million rebate that would be handed straight to public services.
