Johann Lamont has been elected as the new leader of the Scottish Labour Party. Ms Lamont beat MSP Ken Macintosh and MP Tom Harris to replace Iain Gray, who announced he would step down after the SNP's landslide election victories in May. In her acceptance speech she said that it was "not Scotland who had let Labour down, but Labour who let Scotland down".
