David Cameron has written to Colonel Muammar Gaddafi over the investigation into the death of PC Yvonne Fletcher in the Libyan embassy in London in 1984. The prime minister undertook a series of "intensive representations" which resulted in a delegation to Tripoli in August to call for the probe to be sped up.
