Stories involving Graham Stringer

A second MP has said Greater Manchester Police Chief Constable Sir Peter Fahy should be suspended while he faces a criminal investigation by the police watchdog. Graham Stringer should be removed while the IPCC launches an inquiry into his handling of a sex abuse case. Labour's Simon Danczuk has already called for Sir Peter to be suspended. But Greater Manchester's Police and Crime Commissioner Tony Lloyd has said he will allow Sir Peter to continue in his role.

HS2 alternatives 'no solution' - MPs

Graham Stringer, co-chair of the All-Party Group for High Speed Rail, said: "HS2 remains the only proper and practicable solution to creating sufficient long-term capacity for Britain's railways."
