Labour asks for 80mph delay after M5 crash
Labour last night asked the Government to reconsider increasing the national speed limit to 80mph in the wake of the M5 crash. Shadow Transport Secretary Maria Eagle called on her opponent Justine Greening to wait for the conclusions of the investigation into the crash before "steps are taken to advance any proposals in her department that may affect road safety".
