Britain and Italy will 'work together'
Britain and Italy will "continue to work together against horrific terrorism and hostage-taking" the Foreign Office has said, after William Hague met with the Italian foreign minister to discuss a failed rescue mission. The Foreign Secretary "informally met" Giulio Terzi di Sant'Agata in Copenhagen to discuss the deaths of an Italian and Briton during a rescue attempt in Nigeria. Mr Hague said there had been a limited opportunity to secure the release of the two hostages whose lives were in imminent and growing danger.
