PM 'messaged Brooks before she resigned'
David Cameron texted Rebekah Brooks in the week before she quit as chief executive of News International, a biography of the Prime Minister has claimed. Ms Brooks’ close relationship with Mr Cameron will come under scrutiny when she gives evidence to the Leveson Inquiry on Friday.

Lord Leveson is set to decide this morning whether or not to approve an emergency appeal asking for "partisan" government advisers to be excluded from those given advance access to key witness statements and documents.
