Green leader to stand down
Green Party MP and Leader Caroline Lucas has announced that she will not seek re-election as the party's leader when her second term expires in September.

In a statement on the Greens' website, Ms Lucas said: "We're lucky to have a wealth of capability and experience in our Party. Now feels like the right time to step aside, to allow more of that ability to come forward and help the party to grow."
