Airport consultation delayed
A consultation on expanding airports in the south-east could be delayed again because of tensions within the Coalition, the BBC reports.
Transport Secretary Justine Greening had been expected to announce the review today, but it is understood she will now wait until the autumn, according to
The Times.
In a letter to the paper today, business and trade union leaders condemned the delay in presenting a coherant aviation policy, accusing ministers of kicking the issue "into the long grass", and warning that indecision is leaving Britain trailing behind its international competitors.
