Minister hints at pension fee clampdown
The Pensions Minister has hit out at excessive pension fees, which he says are “tearing the heart” out of savers’ retirement funds.

Writing in today’s Daily Telegraph, Steve Webb warns that the Government is prepared to legislate to cap fees, but urged providers instead to “ask themselves if the battered reputation of their industry would not be greatly enhanced if they were to revisit these schemes and offer scheme members fairer terms”.
