Miliband a 'casino sceptic'
Ed Miliband has said he is a "casino sceptic", in a break from the policy of the previous Labour government. After the Culture Select Committee yesterday recommended a relaxation of gambling laws, the Labour leader said there was no need for more casinos in the UK: "Of course there are casinos – and nobody is talking about getting rid of those – but I always thought there must be other routes to economic development and economic growth than through loads more casinos."
