Transparency 'not good enough'
The Government must do more to ensure data released under David Cameron's transparency drive is accessible, MPs have said.

In a new report the Public Accounts Committee said it is "simply not good enough" for officials to publish large quantities of raw statistics that are incomprehensible to the general public.

Chairwoman Margaret Hodge said better information on areas such as school performance and GP surgeries was essential to improving the quality of public services, but added the data must be "easy to understand".
