Private hospital claims savings success
The first private company to run an NHS hospital claims it has cut waiting times and delivered savings in its first six months in charge.
Regional NHS officials say private firm Circle - which has run Hinchingbrooke Hospital in Cambridgeshire since February - has made a good start, but warned that improvements at the hospital must be sustainable.
The chief executive of Circle, Ali Parsa, said Hinchingbrooke had gone from failure to being "one of the best in the country in six months".
Mr Parsa also told the Today programme his company was "on course" to balance the hospital's books
