Garzon to represent Assange for free

Garzon to represent Assange for free
Famed former Spanish judge Baltasar Garzon has revealed he will represent Julian Assange free of charge, claiming the case affects human rights, democracy and free expression. Mr Garzon made the claim in a press conference yesterday, saying Assange was "neither a pirate nor a terrorist". The former judge, who previously sought the extradition of former Chilean dictator Augusto Pinochet to Spain, said Mr Assange's the extradition would be tantamount to sending him to the United States.
