Govt criticises Labour “hypocrisy” on NHS exporting
The government has struck back at the Labour Party over its opposition to plans to “export” the NHS brand, labelling it “political hypocrisy”, and arguing Labour supported a very similar plan when in Government. Government plans to help hospitals launch fee-paying branches overseas were revealed yesterday, and were criticised by Labour as “rampant commercialisation”.
