Tory PCC candidates must fund deposits
Conservative candidates in the upcoming Police and Crime Commissioner elections will have to fund their own deposits, whilst Labour candidates receive funding from their party. The Conservative party has said it will not provide the £5,000 downpayment for candidates wishing to stand, despite the importance of the new roles within their policing policy.
