21/7 bombers to appeal - reports
Four men jailed over the failed 21/7 London bombings in 2005 are to appeal their convictions alleging a cover up over scientific evidence at their trial, according to reports.
Channel 4 News claims lawyers for Muktar Ibrahim, Yassin Omar, Ramzi Mohammed and Manfo Asiedu are set to lodge papers tomorrow at the Court of Appeal and the Criminal Cases Review Commission.
It comes after a former principal scientist at the Government's forensic explosives laboratory says he raised concerns before the 2007 trial about the reliability of expert findings presented by the prosecution.
