The details of a new state business bank will be announced tomorrow, Vince Cable has revealed.
The Business Secretary told Lib Dem members this morning that there was still a "big gap" in lending that the new bank would aim to fill.
"At the end of the day we still recognise that there's a big gap in the system and that is the origin of this idea of a British Business Bank which the Chancellor and I have been floating in recent weeks. I can't say anything more about it this morning, but I think tomorrow you may find that we are along that idea forward and explaining how it's going to operate," he said.
