High Court blocks Hamza extradition
The High Court has granted a temporary injunction banning the extradition of Abu Hamza to the US, after the radical cleric launched a last-ditch challenge which will be heard on Tuesday.
On Monday the Home Office said it would move to hand him over to US authorities "as quickly as possible", after the European Court of Human Rights rejected a bid to appeal.
The ECHR said it would not re-open the cases of Hamza, terrorist suspect Babar Ahmad and three others, after the men argued their extraditions would breach their human rights.
