Martin Wheatley: FCA has barely started
The incoming head of the Financial Conduct Authority has warned banks they have a “big wake-up call coming” and regulators have "barely started" their clampdown on practices in the City. In an interview with the Independent, Martin Wheatley indicated he would consider calling for prosecutions in serious cases of financial malpractice, saying “in the future, we want individuals held to account”.
