A planned cull of the Armed Forces could take place a year earlier than orginially planned. Thousands of soliders could be made redundant early as proposals are put forward to merge two planned rounds of job loses in 2013 and 2014 in to one major announcement after Christmas to avoid 'uncertainty'. Nearly 8,000 redundancies are to be made.
