Protests mar Merkel Greece visit

Protests mar Merkel Greece visit
Street protests have broken out in Athens as German Chancellor Angela Merkel is making her first visit to Greece since the start of the eurozone crisis.

The unrest comes despite public gatherings being banned in certain areas of the city and 7,000 police officers are on duty for Ms Merkel's meeting with the Greek prime minister as Greece looks to pass new cuts of 13bn euros to meet the conditions for another bailout.
