Labour urge defence lobbying code of conduct
Labour has called on the Government to set up a tough new code of conduct for military personnel working in the commercial sector, after allegations that retired officers offered to lobby MPs and civil servants on behalf of arms firms.

Writing for PoliticsHome, Shadow Defence Secretary Jim Murphy calls for "total transparency" in the industry, with fines for defence companies and lengthy bans for those who break the rules.
