Labour facing calls to investigate Vaz
Labour is facing calls to investigate whether Keith Vaz should be allowed to sit on the party's ruling body, the national executive committee (NEC). Mr Vaz has been a member of the NEC since 2007 but court documents submitted by Labour to the High Court suggest that Mr Vaz had not paid his annual subscription when he stood for re-election to the NEC in 2009 as required under the rules.
