Britain says no to US bases
A US request to use military bases in the UK to build up forces in the Gulf has been rejected by officials, the Guardian reports.

diplomats had been lobbying as part of the nuclear standoff with Iran, but the UK cited legal advice saying the country "does not currently represent "a clear and present threat".
