Admiralty Arch to be given hotel makeover

Admiralty Arch to be given hotel makeover
London's landmark Admiralty Arch is to be converted into a luxury hotel, after the Government leased the building out to a Spanish company.

Government said the deal would raise £60 million for taxpayers.

Office minister Francis Maude said: "At present Admiralty Arch is not being used and is costing £900,000 a year to run. Rather than letting it fall into disrepair we are taking action."
