The chief executive of Sadler's Wells Theatre has warned that children will be denied the chance to pursue careers in dance, music and theatre due to the English Baccalaureate's exclusion of arts courses. Alistair Spalding said the decision was "a great pity because we are currently reaping the rewards of the investment in dance education".
