SNP presses for more wind farms
SNP ministers have been pressuring councils to change their "negative language" about wind farms, a Freedom of Information request shows. Scottish Government senior planner Anne Grove wrote to the Scottish Borders Council attacking their suggestion tehy are "at saturation point for wind farms." SNP ministers also managed to get rid of "buffer zones" around castles, abbeys, stately homes and gardens.
