Doha talks due to end
Climate change talks in Doha are due to end today, amid a row over which countries will pay the most to curb climate change.
Yesterday a spokesman for the small island states rounded on the wealthy countries for lack of progress on the talks, which are led by Qatar.
AOSIS spokesman Ronald Jumeau told a news conference: "The Doha caravan seems to be lost in the sand... As far as ambition is concerned, we are lost."
The BBC is reporting that the issue of compensation for global warming is likely to be a main area of focus for the attendees at the conference.
