Cameron announces porn blocks
David Cameron has announced new measures to block children from seeing adult material online.

The default option for a new range of internet filters will be ‘on’, the Prime Minister says, though there will be no straightforward ‘opt-in’ system to see pornography.

Tory MP Claire Perry has also been given a role as adviser on the sexualisation of childhood.

Mr Cameron writes in the Daily Mail: “A silent attack on innocence is under way in our country today and I am determined that we fight it with all we’ve got.”
