Balls 'enforces Shadow Cabinet silence on cuts'
Shadow Cabinet ministers have been banned from identifying specific government cuts they support, Ed Balls has said. In an interview with The Times Mr Balls also revealed Ed Miliband had not guaranteed he would be Chancellor if Labour won in 2015, that he was open-minded but sceptical about the Bank of England targeting NGDP rather than inflation, and that benefit claimants who refused work would lose money under Labour.
