Egyptian VP stands down
Egypt's vice-president has stepped down, as the country holds a second round of voting on a controversial new draft constitution.

Mahmoud Mekki, appointed in August, said he had intended to quit last month but stayed on to help the government tackle the growing crisis over the constitution.

Egyptians in 17 provinces are casting their votes today, after unofficial figures found the 'Yes' vote narrowly in the lead following the first round of voting.
