Min alcohol price could be scrapped
The Government is already looking at alternatives to its plan for a 45p minimum price on a unit of alcohol, according to the Sun. Many senior government ministers are understood to oppose the minimum price, leading to the Home Office reportedly looking at increasing duty on strong beers and lagers instead.
