Pressure on Osborne over ringfencing
MPs on Parliament's banking reform committee will put pressure on the Chancellor to bring in tough new ringfencing requirements. Labour MP Pat McFadden told the Financial Times the committee "will have to decide to do" if George Osborne does not agree to their demand to "electrify" the ringfence separating retail and investment banking.
