Nobel prize winner attacks 'stupid' immigration policy
A Nobel prize-winning scientist has described the Government's immigration policy as "stupid". Professor Sir Andre Geim, a member of the team that discovered graphene at Manchester University, said new restrictions on non-Europrean Union immigrants block bright academics from working at British institutions. He said, "I can't stress enough how stupid it is that the Government has put immigrants and overseas students in the same category."
