British Safety Council will hold its 4th annual Wellbeing conference on 24 April 2024.

The event will be online and chaired by Stephen Haynes, British Safety Council’s Director of Wellbeing.

This year’s conference theme is ‘Engaging, Equipping and Empowering Employees’, and will provide expert insight into different aspects of how best to support people’s physical, mental and emotional wellbeing at work.

Industry experts and leading employers will share their insight, with a mixture of speakers and panel discussions covering areas such as stress and mental health, inclusivity and neurodiversity, financial wellbeing, and empowering leadership and people managers.

Stephen Haynes said: “I am looking forward to hearing from the great line-up of speakers we have at our fourth annual Wellbeing conference.

“We will be exploring with our expert panel the future of workplace wellbeing, considering questions such as ‘Have we previously focused on the right things?’, ‘How effective have our approaches been?’, ‘How do we use this learning to ensure workplace ‘wellbeing’ programmes address the real people challenges businesses face?’.”

British Safety Council’s one-day Wellbeing conference will include a keynote presentation by Shaun Davis, Group Director of Safety, Health and Wellbeing at Belron® International.

British Safety Council has been supporting organisations in their workplace health, safety and wellbeing for over 65 years, with its vision being “no one should be injured or made ill through their work”. Through its Being Well Together programme and wellbeing training and consultancy services, British Safety Council takes a holistic approach to employee wellbeing and works closely with organisations to help them ensure that every worker goes home at the end of the day as healthy and well as they were when they went to work.

An early bird rate of £120 is available for the 2024 Wellbeing conference until 15 March, with discounted rates for British Safety Council members and customers. To register, and for more information on the Wellbeing conference, click here, and to see the full agenda click here.
